By creating an account or using MyAlgoAgent™, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Risk Disclosure. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.
The service
MyAlgoAgent provides software for building, backtesting, forward testing and — where a broker is connected — live-executing rule-based trading strategies. We are a software provider, not a broker-dealer, exchange or investment advisor.
No fiduciary or advisory relationship
Using MyAlgoAgent does not create a fiduciary, advisory or agency relationship between you and MyAlgoAgent or Shagoon Softech Pvt. Ltd. We do not evaluate the suitability of any strategy for your personal financial circumstances, and nothing in the Service should be read as a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security.
Eligibility & regulatory compliance
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and, for live trading, legally able to trade the relevant markets in your jurisdiction. If you enable live trading through a connected broker in India, you are solely responsible for complying with applicable Indian securities law and SEBI regulations governing algorithmic trading and API-based order placement, including any broker- or exchange-level registration or tagging requirements that apply to your account.
Your account & communications
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account, including strategies you create or authorize to trade.
By creating an account, you consent to receive the service communications needed to operate it — account verification, sign-in links, password resets, security notices, replies from our support team, and important notices about your account or the Service (such as planned maintenance or changes to these Terms) — by email and in the app. We do not send marketing email. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle bounces, complaints and unsubscribe requests.
Broker connections
You connect a broker using an API app you create in your own broker account. Connecting authorizes MyAlgoAgent to use those credentials with your broker's official API on your behalf — to log you in, verify your account and read account information and, where live trading is switched on for your account, to place, modify and cancel orders strictly as you initiate or authorize them. When you take a strategy live, you authorize MyAlgoAgent to send the orders that strategy's own rules generate on your account automatically, without asking you to confirm each one, until you pause or stop it, switch live trading off, or trigger the kill switch. A readiness check only reads your account and never places an order. Every order is checked against your risk limits first, and records of live orders are kept for five years. You may disconnect a broker or trigger the kill switch at any time, and you can revoke access from your broker's side.
If you choose an automatic daily login your broker offers (such as Groww's API TOTP key), you authorize MyAlgoAgent to use the credential you provide solely to start your daily API session with that broker; you can revoke this at any time by disconnecting here or deleting the key at your broker.
You are responsible for your broker account and its API app: keeping your API keys secret (regenerate them if they may have been exposed), your broker's API terms and any fees your broker charges for API or data access, logging in each trading day, and any requirements your broker or exchange sets for API trading, such as registering a static IP address. MyAlgoAgent is not affiliated with, endorsed by or responsible for any broker, and a broker may change or withdraw its API at any time.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Every new account starts with a free trial of the paid features, then continues on the Free plan unless you choose a paid plan. Paid plans (Trade and Pro) are billed monthly in advance, in Indian rupees, with GST at the applicable rate (currently 18%) added to the price shown, through our payment provider Razorpay. By choosing a paid plan you authorize recurring monthly charges to your chosen payment method until you cancel.
You can stop renewal at any time from Plan, credits & billing in the app. Your plan then continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account moves to the Free plan. As a general rule payments are not refundable. The exception is a plan payment that you tell us about within 3 working days, when none, or less than 5%, of that period's credits have been used: we refund it less a charge of ₹100, and the plan ends (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy). One-time payments, such as credit top-ups, are final and not refundable. If we charge you by mistake, we will correct it. Plan features, credit allowances and prices may change; we will tell you before a change affects a renewal.
Credits and top-up packs are used for the metered features shown in the app. Monthly plan credits renew each period and do not carry over; purchased top-up credits stay for a year. Your card or UPI details are handled by Razorpay and are never stored by MyAlgoAgent.
No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee any level of trading performance, uptime, or that any strategy will be profitable. See our Risk Disclosure.
Prohibited use
You may not use the platform for unlawful purposes, to circumvent broker or exchange rules, or to interfere with the platform's security or operation.
Webhook strategies follow alerts from your own TradingView account. Use them only with a strategy or indicator you wrote or understand — not to relay another person's or service's trading signals — and keep your webhook URL private. Signals are accepted only from TradingView's alert servers, at most one per candle of the strategy's timeframe, and run as forward tests.
Forward tests apply a strategy's own rules (or, for webhook strategies, your own alerts) to new prices. They aren't a way to practise placing trades by hand, and their hypothetical results are shown per strategy, never as a balance or account.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyAlgoAgent and Shagoon Softech Pvt. Ltd. are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including losses caused by broker-API outages, market-data errors, or your own configuration of a strategy or risk limits.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold MyAlgoAgent and Shagoon Softech Pvt. Ltd. harmless from claims, losses or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your trading activity, or your misuse of the Service.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, or as required by law, with notice where reasonably practicable. While an account is suspended it cannot sign in and its forward-testing sessions are paused; its data is kept unless you ask us to delete it. If you believe a suspension is a mistake, contact support@myalgoagent.com.
Force majeure, notices & severability
We are not liable for any failure or delay in the Service caused by events outside our reasonable control, including exchange or broker-API outages, internet or cloud-provider disruptions, natural disasters, or government action.
We may give you notice under these Terms by email to the address on your account, by a notice in the app, or by posting a notice on this page. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Risk Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and MyAlgoAgent regarding the Service, superseding any prior agreements on the same subject.
Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Contact us with questions about these Terms.
